IKEA Singapore (A01)

IKEA Kids’ Paper-Making Corner

Whether it is at home or at work, many of us use paper as a medium for nearly everything in our lives, no matter big or small. From journals, memo pads, recipes, and even perhaps just noting down phone numbers and contact addresses, paper is being widely used every day. Yet, what happens to the paper after it is used? Most people trash it into the rubbish bin after using, ignorant to the fact that you can 'recycle' it on your own!

Over at Green Living this weekend, we will be having an exciting Kids’ Paper-Making Corner to learn how to recycle your paper waste into new pieces of unique DIY paper. This workshop is suitable for 4 years old and above! Pick your own waste material from old newspaper, scrapped paper and even used beverage carton pieces to create different shades and patterns of paper that can be reused as postcards, artwork bases, door signs, etc. Parents are encouraged to join the workshop with their children and a rewarding bonding session is awaiting! Save paper, save our Mother Earth, and have fun making your own paper at our Kids’ Paper-Making Corner!
